Construction & Geotechnical Material Testing, Inc (CGMT) is a consulting firm providing Geotechnical & Construction Material Testing & Engineering, Construction Inspection, Laboratory Testing and Analysis for the Chicago land area. CGMT provides all professional services from its office and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) laboratory centrally located in Bensenville, Illinois. Our qualified staff of engineers, scientists and Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and American Concrete Institute (ACI) certified engineering technicians have completed hundreds of projects within the Chicago land area.
CGMT is a minority owner business and complies with the MBE requirements. In addition, is also a registered Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). Laboratory testing can be conducted using both American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM) & American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) procedures. Our state-of-the-art Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) laboratory facilities in Bensenville, Illinois is an AASHTO-accredited laboratory. CGMT’s accreditation is granted by the AASHTO Accreditation Program (AAP) and is limited to the laboratory and the standards for which the laboratory is accredited. The laboratory is inspected and approved by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) on yearly basis.
